Dear Club Members,
Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 2:01PM Happy New Year! Now is the time to start thinking (if you haven’t already!) about the year of racing ahead with all the challenges and fun that it will bring. Have you also thought of helping out at all to make these events happen? At present our club is in need of at least two additional Race Committee members for the 2012 season.
The main job of the Race Committee is to plan and execute our larger races which consist of the Geoff Dixon Memorial, the Wagga to Albury Handicap and the Giro d’Bellbridge. Duties include attending one or two meetings before a large race and helping to set up on the race day. The commitments of the Race Committee have been significantly eased this year as our club will not be running the Rutherglen Classic and we are now rostering marshaling duties. Despite this, we still need more people on the Race Committee as many hands make light work!
