The Albury Wodonga Cycling Club (AWCC) was formed with members from the Wodonga Cycling Club and other like minded cyclists to have a unified group for the region. The club has in excess of one hundred members and caters to cyclists from all walks of life.
The AWCC stage several major cycling events throughout the year such as the John Woodman Wagga to Albury, Rutherglen Classics Road Race and criterium, Multisport Albury City Criteriums, Geoff Dixon Memorial Road Race, and the Bellbridge Classic Road Race.
Club races are held on a regular basis and members also often travel to compete in events in other regions, as well as supporting many participation events like the Around the Bay In a Day, Amy Gillet Foundation and AUDAX rides.
The club meets on the first Monday of every second month at the Albury Manor House from 7:30 PM and all members and their guests are invited. The club also holds social events including a Christmas Party, AGM and an Annual Presentation night.
The next scheduled club meeting is on Monday, September 6th, 2010.
